Music Spotlight: Prim

Prim makes its debut with the 11-track indie rock LP “Move Too Slow.” The album explores themes of existential frustration, social isolation, and chronic self-awareness.

Originally founded by Kevin Flores and Mark Ramos in Houston, TX in 2019, the band moved into the Seattle music scene in 2021 along with members Evelyn Frances and Shane Juretic.

Move Too Slow marks the band's sonic evolution from their 2021 EP “Could Be Anywhere”. The collection of songs showcases the band's musical exploration. That journey leads directly to Move Too Slow, where we hear the band come into their own.

The journey unfolds with the “Golden Tooth” music video. The lyrics are just cryptic enough to allow you to make multiple interpretations, but isn’t that what all good songwriters strive to convey?
